We use customer and project information to schedule, manage and carry out agreed work, communicate with you, issue invoices and receive payment. Our lawful basis is the performance of our contract with you.

We keep appropriate financial, contractual and project records for bookkeeping, taxation, insurance, dispute handling and other legal or regulatory requirements. Our lawful bases are compliance with legal obligations and our legitimate interests in managing and protecting the business.

Website operation and improvement

We use necessary technical information to operate and secure the website. With your consent, we may also use analytics information to understand how visitors use the website and improve its content and performance.

Photographs, reviews and testimonials

Where a photograph, review or testimonial identifies you or reveals identifiable details about your home, we will use it for our portfolio or marketing only where we have appropriate permission.   • public authorities, regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies where disclosure is legally required.

These organisations may act as our processors or as independent controllers, depending on the service they provide. We require service providers acting on our behalf to handle personal information appropriately.

Some technology providers, including Squarespace and Google, may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we rely on an applicable UK adequacy regulation or appropriate contractual safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent protections.

7. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary:

  • enquiries that do not become customer projects are normally deleted or anonymised within 12 months of the last meaningful contact;

  • customer, quotation, contract, invoice and payment records are normally retained for six years after the end of the relevant financial year or customer relationship, where required for tax, accounting, insurance or legal purposes;

  • information connected with a complaint, claim or dispute may be retained until the matter and any relevant limitation period have ended; and

  • information used with your consent is retained until the purpose ends or you withdraw consent, unless another lawful reason requires us to keep it.

We may retain information for longer where the law requires it or where this is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Our website is hosted by Squarespace and uses cookies and similar technologies.

  • Necessary cookies support security, core website functions and storage of your cookie preferences. These operate without consent where they are strictly necessary.
